Frequently Asked Questions

When navigating the NPMA website, please ensure that you are logged into your NPMA profile, which will help maintain accurate education and purchase records for our members. If you believe you have an NPMA profile, please email membership@npma.org to confirm before creating a new profile. This will make sure your NPMA history is all in one place.

  • How do I choose a chapter to join?
    • Click here to view a map of all of the chapter locations. Your chapter selected at registration can be changed at anytime. Members may choose to join any chapter, NPMA Chapters have no geographic limitations.

  • How do I change my chapter?
    • On the NPMA home page click Sign In at the top of the page to sign in to your account.

    • Once signed in you should be on your profiles home page. If you are already signed in click My Profile at the top of the page, this will take you to the same page.
      On the menu at the top of the screen - click on Groups in this menu. There, under the Available Groups, you will see your current NPMA Chapter with a drop-down menu that lists all of the chapters.
  • I am retired and want to join as a retiree member but I do not see this option.
    • If you are interested in a retiree membership. You will need to have a non-company email account attached to your profile and email membership to request the membership type.

  • I am retired or retiring and would like to renew my NPMA membership as a retiree member.
    • If you are interested in a retiree membership. You will need to have a non-company email account attached to your profile and email membership to request the membership type.
  • How do I renew my group’s membership?
    • Email or call Membership and they will assist you in renewing your group membership.

  • How do I add individual(s) from my group's membership?
    • Email Membership the following information about your new member(s):
      • First Name, Last Name
      • Preferred email address
      • Preferred NPMA Chapter affiliation
    • Once the above information is received, the Membership Coordinator will send you an itemized invoice to review and approve. Once approved, a final invoice and payment instructions will be sent to you.

  • How do I remove individual(s) from my group's membership?
    • Email Membership with the name(s) of the individuals you wish to have removed.

Please see the fee timetable below. Voted on at the 2022 NPMA National Delegates Meeting in Dallas Texas, there will be a annual membership dues increase, beginning January 1, 2023. The increase will be an annual increase through January 1, 2028.

  • What do I do if my account is suspended?
  • How do I locate an invoice?
    • Log in to the NPMA website. Once logged in, click your name at the top of the page and choose Invoices.
    • Once on this page select Any Status from the drop-down menu labeled Filter by status. You will be able to access all of your invoices.
  • How do I renew my membership?
    • You can renew your membership up to 90 days in advance of your expiration online.
    • Log in to your NPMA member profile. On the My Feed page, you will see in the Announcements section, you will see a notice to renew. Click on the Renew Now button. From there, follow all required fields.
  • How do I update my profile?
    • On the NPMA home page click Sign In at the top of the page to sign in to your account. Once logged in click your name at the top of the page and choose Account + Settings.

  • What are the Announcements listed in My Profile?
    • Announcements are action items for you in regard to your NPMA profile, such as membership renewal reminders or profile update recommendations.
    • If you have completed the item(s) listed in your Announcements, click the Done button next to the announcement to remove the action item.

  • How can I set what profile information other members can see?
    • On the NPMA home page click Sign In at the top of the page to sign in to your account. Once logged in, click your name at the top of the page and choose Account + Settings.
    • Next to each field of your profile, you will see a red icon. If you click on the icon, you can choose the visibility of that field to other NPMA members.

  • How do you reset your password?
    • On the NPMA homepage click Sign In at the top of the page. This will take your to the member login page. If you know your password login as normal. In the Profile tab you will see under Account Information a field for your password with an option to "(change)". Follow the prompts to reset your password.
    • If you do not remember your password click on the link that says Click here to reset your password. This link is located just below the Sign In button. If need any additional assistance, please email membership@npma.org.

  • How do I update my profile?

  • What are the Announcements listed in My Profile?

  • How do I print my membership card?
    • Log in to the NPMA website. Once you are logged in, click on your name in the upper right-hand corner and select Account + Settings. Next click Membership under Payments & History. On the next page, you will see View/Print My Membership Card. Click here and you will be able to print your membership card.

  • How do I access my My Learning profile and/or my webinars I purchased?
    • Login to the NPMA website. Once you are logged in you will see a dashboard. Click on Quick Links, and you will see an option for My Learning. Click on My Learning and it will direct you to your My Learning page.

  • How do I get back to the main NPMA website?
    • Click on the NPMA logo in the upper left-hand corner of your profile.

  • What web browsers are recommended to use while navigating the NPMA Website and/or Online Classes?
