Grace Period
There is a 30 day grace period from the certification expiration date to submit your renewal application and fee without penalty.
- 31 days past the expiration date and no more than 120 days, renewal applications will be accepted with a $100 late fee.
- After 120 days or if you do not meet recertification requirements, you must retake the exams. Exams can be purchased here. If you need to retest, do not pay the renewal application fee or complete the Fleet Certification Renewal Application.
