NPMA Certification

 



NPMA certification is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and designate those who demonstrate knowledge essential to the practice of asset/property management.


The Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) level certification is fundamental, intended for those who are new to the property profession or work in a specific property area. Click here for the CPPS Practice Exam.

 

The Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) level certification is intermediate, intended for those who have a CPPS certification and at least 3 years of experience in the property profession (submitted on the Work Experience Summary Form).  Click here to submit the Work Experience SummaryClick here for the CPPA Practice Exam.

 

The Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) level certification is advanced, intended for those who have a CPPA certification, at least 6 years of experience in the property profession, and at least 4 years of managerial experience (submitted on the Work Experience Summary Form). Steps to follow:

1. Purchase appropriate exams - see buttons below.  Pricing is shown once you click on the link. (Note: To receive member price, log on to this site first.)
2. CPPA/CPPM candidates MUST complete a Work Experience Summary Form before scheduling exam.

3. Schedule exam.

• Two options are available for taking Exams:

• Option 1 Online Proctor

  • Option 2 – Test Center

• NPMA will issue Exam Voucher to register and schedule exam for CPPS after purchase or, for CPPA/CPPM, after purchase and approval of Work Summary.
• You will create a login and schedule exam at http://webassessor.com/NPMA
• Exam results are emailed at completion of CPPS and CPPA.  CPPM results are emailed after grading is completed.
4. Exam vouchers expire 90 days after issued.

Retakes:

• There is a 30-day wait policy before any retake exam can be taken.
