This session is intended to cover strategies and proven best practices for the proactive injection of property management into the acquisition process to facilitate achievement of property management goals (from requirements development and RFP receipt – through proposal and negotiation – to award and execution). Discussion will focus on identifying and resolving potential issues before they come to fruition through leveraging external resources and functions while stressing the importance of understanding the overall system, the motivations of participants, and strategies for converting neutral parties into allies and advocates - (session could also be titled “Making your one-man band sound like a Symphony”).
