CPPS CERTIFICATION REVIEW ONLINE

This class awards 24 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). This class will be held for four consecutive days from 11:00 AM -  6:00 PM Eastern.

Requirements for participation in online courses

• Computer
• Internal OR external webcam
• Headset with built-in microphone OR ear buds with built-in microphone 
• Adobe Connect (free download available here) OR Google Chrome

IMPORTANT: It is your responsibility test your system before registering for the class, or at least 45 days prior the start date of the class. No refunds will be issued after 45 days prior to the start date of class. To download Adobe Connect and test your system, please go to https://npma.adobeconnect.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm and follow the steps to install Adobe Connect, then run the diagnostic test. If you cannot download Adobe Connect, follow the steps to enable/install flash player, then click Test Again.

A link to access the class will be sent at a later date.

Once you have paid for your registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that includes a link to the study materials. 

Testing is optional, and scheduled through our proctoring service, Kryterion. Please see testing instructions below. The course is taught by an NPMA instructor who is CPPM-certified. Due to accreditation regulations, the instructor has not seen, and does not have access to, the actual exam.

Testing
A Certification Review course is a study option for a certification exam and not a requirement.

• Exams are no longer administered by the instructor following a Review Course. They will be scheduled with and administered by our exam partner, Kryterion.

• Exam can be canceled and rescheduled, however there will be a fee charged to you if cancelations/reschedules are within 24 hours (online testing) or 72 hours (onsite center testing) of your exam start time.
  

Course Materials

The Fundamentals of Personal Property Management is included with the registration fees. A digital copy will be provided in the 30 days out from the course "Know Before You Go" email Hard copy manuals will be shipped to the mailing address provided upon registration. If you have asked someone else to register you for this class, please ensure they provide YOUR email address and mailing address on the registration and not their own.

CPPS Exam Eligibility Requirements

• You are new to property or work as a specialist in a specific area (e.g., shipping, receiving, or inventory).
• You must complete the CPPS Application Form prior to receiving an exam voucher code. (Note: You will need to log in to your NPMA profile at www.npma.org prior to completing the form.)

Instructor Bio

Gina Thompson, CPPM, CF
Gina worked in the Property Management field for 30 years in Fort Worth, Texas. She began her property journey at General Dynamics which later became Lockheed, then Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and then continued in property group at Bell Helicopter, later known as Bell Textron Inc. She retired from Bell in August 2022.

Gina joined NPMA in 2004 and has served the North Texas Chapter as President, Vice President, National Delegate, Chapter Secretary and Professional Development & Program Committee Chairperson. She served 2 terms as Central Region Secretary and is currently serving as Central Region Vice President. She received her Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) certification from NPMA in 2013 and at the 2023 NES achieved her Consulting Fellow designation.

Gina has enjoyed retirement by travelling (land based and cruising), gardening and spending time mentoring NPMA members in studying for their certifications. She is looking forward to spending time with her NPMA family by serving at the National, Regional and Chapter levels and teaching others about Asset Management whenever possible.
