CPPM CERTIFICATION REVIEW This class awards 8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Course Payment Policy Registrants with pending payments 45 days prior to the first day of the course must guarantee payment or will be dropped from enrollment. Please read below. - The CPPM Exam consists of questions requiring short essay answers. You can see a shortened sample here.
- Exams will not be administered during the class.
- Beginning in January 2021, you must complete the CPPM Application Form prior to receiving an exam voucher code. (Note: You will need to log in to your NPMA profile at www.npma.org prior to completing the form.)
- As of January 2020, NPMA no longer uses the services of volunteer or instructor proctors.
- You do not have to take the exam immediately following the class.
- Instead, NPMA will use the services of an independent proctoring company Kryterion. NPMA exams will be administered through Kryterion’s system Webassessor.
- You will have to make an appointment with Kryterion to schedule a testing time.
- You can either take your exam online or at one of Kryterion’s testing centers. Both methods require an appointment.
- If you would like to take your exam online after the class is complete, please do not make your testing appointment before 5:30 pm on the last day of the class.
- You will have to use your own laptop if you choose to take your exam online. Learn more about requirements for laptop/webcam/internet speed/firewalls here.
- Any laptop used for online testing must have a webcam and the ability to download security software.
- If you are taking the exam at the course venue after the close of the class, you will be responsible for providing your own internet access either through your hotel room’s hardwired internet or by using your Smartphone as a WiFi hotspot.
- NPMA will not provide internet access for testing.
- Per Kryterion's Cancellation/Reschedule Policy, there will be a fee charged to you if you cancel/reschedule within 24 hours (online testing) or 72 hours (onsite center testing) of your exam start time.
COURSE DESCRIPTION The NPMA Certification Program is designed to elevate professional standards and enhance individual performance for those who demonstrate a high level of competence essential to the practice of property management. After obtaining the CPPS and CPPA, you are ready to take your professional certification to the next level by completing the Situational Judgment Essay Exam forCertified Professional Property Manager (CPPM). This one-day class will provide an intensive review before you sit for the CPPM exam.See a shortened version practice exam. Testing is, however, optional, and scheduled through our proctoring service, Kryterion. The cost of the exam is NOT included in the course registration. The course is taught by an NPMA instructor who is CPPM-certified. Due to accreditation regulations, the instructor has not seen, and does not have access to, the actual exam. CPPM Eligibility Requirements - Have an active CPPA

- Have an approved Work Summary (more information here)
- worked in property for at least six (6) years and have a variety of work experience in at least seven (7) functional areas of property management (see below)
- Have four (4) years of managerial experience
- Note: Managerial experience means supervision, decision-making, or management of resources (not necessarily personnel). This could include project management; program management; financial management (budget); team leadership; or serving as the sole property manager in an organization, corporation, or agency.

Contact education@npma.org INSTRUCTOR BIO Cheri Cross, CPPM, CF Cheri is the Property Manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratory which is operated by UT-Battelle, LLC for the Department of Energy. She is a Certified Professional Property Manager and an NPMA Consulting Fellow. In her 41 years of service at ORNL, 29 have been devoted to the improvement of Property Management. Cheri served as a U.S. Delegate during the initial development of the ISO Asset Management Standard. Her NPMA accomplishments include the Jack Griffiths Property Person of the Year Award, Eastern Region Property Person of the Year Award, and multiple literary awards. She is currently serving as the Assistant Administrator for the NPMA Foundation, is a Past President of NPMA and served on the Executive Board for 16 years (2000-2016). Cheri has a B. S. in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, graduating Summa Cum Laude as the “Top Graduate” from the College of Business.
