		Calling All SMEs! Have you ever wanted to be more involved in the certification process but didn’t know what to do or where to start? NOW is your opportunity!! Every few years the NPMA Certification Program must go through a Job Task Analysis (JTA). The JTA is the building blocks upon which the certification exams are built. This year, NPMA will be undergoing our next JTA and we are looking for folks who are already certified at any level of property management to participate in the process. You don’t need to have any prior experience, training will be provided. The time commitment is about 12 hours, spread over several weeks. Oh, and in case you are nearing credential renewal, serving on this team will qualify as SME experience. If you have questions, let us know at certification@npma.org. 		NPMA Election 2022 - Submit Your Candidacy Today! Interested in contributing to the future of the NPMA? The next NPMA election year is right around the corner! This election, which will take place on August 21 at the National and Regional Board Meetings prior to NES in Dallas, includes the positions for both the National Executive Board and the Region Boards. For more information on position duties and requirements, as well as details on how to submit your candidacy, visit our 2022 Call for Candidates page: https://www.npma.org/page/2022Elections. The deadline to be included on the official ballot is April 29, 2022.
		Call for Papers: Journal of Property and Asset Management The NPMA is looking to publish a volume of the Journal of Property and Asset Management (JPAM). If you are an aspiring author, or have even contributed previously, or if you are a working professional in Property and Asset Management we ask for your literary contributions. These should be more expansive works, potentially research based that would expand the body of knowledge regarding Property and Asset management. Papers for this Journal generally take an academic approach and are more lengthy than those that appear in The Property Professional. Articles would need to be submitted in an electronic format no later than May 1, 2022. For additional information please feel free to contact Dr. Douglas Goetz. Position: Government Property Site Lead Organization: BAE Systems Location: York, Pennslyvania Details: This position is responsible for managing, reporting and self-assessing Contractor Outcomes of the Government Property Management System as applicable to each business unit. This includes the maintenance of records and issuance of required contractual and FAR reports concerning government-owned property from its receipt at the company to its final disposition after contract completion or termination. Position includes self-assessment and support of the Government’s annual survey of the Government Property Management System. Acts as a liaison with internal and external customers to resolve government property issues. This position is located at York PA. Read more.
