	NES 2021 Presentation Proposals Due January 15th The 2021 National Education Seminar Call of Presenters is now open. Learn more about submitting presentations and important dates by visiting the NES 2021 website. All submission are due by Friday, January 15th, 2021 . If you have any questions, please contact the NPMA National Office at conferences@npma.org.
	2021 Chapter Officer Verification and Chapter Financial Report Due January 15th The 2021 Chapter Officer Verification and Chapter Financial Report forms are now available in the Chapter Tool Kit. Chapters must submit both forms no later than January 15, 2021. The Chapter Officer Verification Form must be submitted even if there are not changes in officers for 2021. Failure to submit these forms by the deadline could result in Chapter Dues payments being withheld until the forms are received. Chapters will submit the forms via online submission forms. Please see below for direct links to the forms. 	New Learning Management System Coming for NPMA The National Property Management Association is excited to announce that we will be transitioning to a new My Learning system provider in 2021. The new system, LearnUpon, will house all of our educational content and member transcripts. This new system will be replacing our current My Learning system. Like our Online Community upgrade, LearnUpon will offer a fresh look and feel, as well as an overall better functionality and experience for our members. Stay tuned for more updates! 	Upcoming Webinars: NPMA Awards Information The NPMA Awards Committee presents: Preparing Your Chapter of the Year Submission, an informative webinar on how to complete the new Chapter of the Year form, understand what information will be supplied by the National Office and provide ideas to make your submission stand out from the rest! The hour-long webinar will be held - Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM PST. We hope you will join us! Register Today! 	Introducing the New NPMA Online Community The NPMA Online Community is now live! The NPMA Online Community offers a fresh look and feel to part of our website and will allow for easier interactions between members. This feature is replacing the Member Forum and it will provide better access to posts made by members throughout the community. A few highlights of the new features include: A new member post layout with a social-media look & feel - easily post messages and updates to your Chapter or the membership at large Easier access to your profile, member directory, groups and messages Alert notifications Easy access to your invoices Mobile-responsive layout Gamification options Suggested connections You will see the changes once you are logged in and are viewing your profile (My Profile) or your group pages. 	New Look for NPMA Group Pages In conjunction with the Online Community, the updates also include a fresh look and feel to our group pages, which include private pages for NPMA Chapters and Regions. For our Chapter Webmasters, the functionality of the pages remain similar to what you are used to. The change in look is to match the overall look of the new design of the Online Community. 	Property Certification News As you may have heard, or seen advertised over the course of the last few months, several changes are coming to the NPMA Certification Program and most took effect on January 1, 2021. Look for these changes: NEW Certification pages on the NPMA website NEW Certification Application must be completed prior to purchase of an exam NEW Property Certification Program Candidate’s Handbook (contains ALL the details a candidate should know about the certification process) Study materials and exams must be purchased separately (keeping education and certification separate Items for purchase may be found in the online store: o Property Fundamentals Manual (electronic version) $20.00 o Property Fundamentals Manual (bound version) $110.00 o Property Intermediate Manual (electronic version) $20.00 o Property Intermediate Manual (bound version) $110.00 NEW exam times for the CPPS and CPPA will be 116 minutes to allow candidates to take a very brief survey about their certification process and experience NEW Certification Renewal Form will be the only version accepted for renewal, Fleet and Property Certificants who do not renew within 121 days following credential expiration will no longer be certified through NPMA and no longer authorized to use the Certification Mark (CPPS, CPPA, CPPM, CFFS, CFFA, CFFM) - DON’T LET YOUR CREDENTIAL EXPIRE!
