NPMA PROCTORS

Find a Proctor

  • All NPMA certification exams must be taken in the presence of an NPMA-approved proctor.
  • When you purchase your exam, you will see a drop down box where proctors are sorted by state and city. Choose from the list. Within 2 business days of your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation of your exam purchase. The email will include the proctor's email address so that you can contact your proctor to make arrangements for taking your exam(s).
  • If there are no proctors in your area, you can ask someone from your Human Resources Department or similar position to be apply to be approved to proctor your exam(s). That person cannot be in your direct line of supervision - they cannot supervise you nor can you supervise them. They must also understand that they will not be eligible to take any NPMA Certification level exams for a period of 10 years after having completed their role as an NPMA proctor.
  • Proctor applicants must be approved before they can serve. Anyone considering the role must review the Proctor Manual and complete the Proctor Application. They should also know that this is a volunteer position and they will not become a member. They cannot accept payment for proctoring.
  • Proctors who are not CPPM credentialed are considered HR Proctors. HR Proctors do not show up in the drop down list when you purchase your exams. If your proctor is an HR Proctor, choose Proctor Placeholder as your proctor when making your purchase. Type the name of your proctor into the comments section of the payment screen.
