		NPMA National Office Holiday Hours The NPMA National Office will be closing at 12:00 PM Eastern Time on Friday, July 2nd and will be closed all day Monday, July 5th in observance of the Fourth of July Holiday. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, July 6th. We hope you have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend with family and friends! "May we never forget that freedom isn't free."
		New Learning Management System Coming for NPMA The National Property Management Association is excited to announce that we will be transitioning to a new My Learning system provider soon. The new system, LearnUpon, will house all our educational content and member transcripts. This new system will be replacing our current My Learning system. Like our Online Community upgrade, LearnUpon will offer a fresh look and feel, as well as an overall better functionality and experience for our members. Additional features include: Improved catalog search, user recent activity tracking, easier access to presentation slides, and so much more! Once we have launched this new system, we'll provide some additional details on how to take advantage of all the features that will be available to you. 		Expand Your Property Knowledge Through Cal Poly Pomona. Course Registration begins May 3rd. Cal Poly Pomona University is offering the following course for Property Professionals. FRL 3293: Legal and Contract Management Aspects of Federal Government Contract Property, Basics of Contract Property & Asset Management With a Twist (Law). The course will be Tuesday and Thursdays from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM starting July 8, 2021 - August 6, 2021. The course will be taught by Professor Dr. John Wyatt. See additional below on course registration. The public registers for this NON-CREDIT course through Open University. Registering to take classes through Open University is a 3-step process: Fill out the online registration form Submit Online Petition Pay Tuition ($1020) & Be Enrolled To learn more about admission to the course through Open University and to register for the FRL 3293 Legal and Contract Management Aspects of Federal Government Contract Property course, please visit the Cal Poly Pomona website. 		Don't Forget to Send Chapter Officer Updates to the National Office If your Chapter has had a mid-year election or change in Chapter Officers, please notify the NPMA National Office of these changes in order for the office to maintain up to date records. Per policy, the updates in officers must come from the Chapter President (if the Chapter President has resigned and a new one is taking over, the email should come from one of the other officers in place when the original form was submitted). Chapter Officer updates can be submitted via the Chapter Officer Verification Form or by emailing membership@npma.org. If you have any questions, please contact the NPMA National Office at membership@npma.org.
		Engage with Industry Colleagues in the Online Community Similar to other social platforms, you can post a question, a comment, or update in the Online Community for your connections to see! How do I make a post in the Online Community? Once you are signed into your NPMA profile, select "My Feed" in the Online Community navigation. You will then see an area at the top of your screen to make your post. Note, posting directly to "My Feed", will go out to all your connections. If you need to make a post that is meant for your NPMA Chapter only, please make that post to in your Chapter group page. 		Have knowledge to share? Join NPMA's Speaker Roster! In an effort to assist our Chapters and Regions in providing continuing education to their members, NPMA is rolling out a new Speaker Database. This database will provide a listing of individuals willing to speak on specific topics that our Chapters/Regions can use to secure speakers for upcoming monthly meetings, Chapter Workshops and National Seminars. We need volunteers to present sessions on a variety of topics of interest to our community. If you are interested and wish to be added to the database, please fill out this form: NPMA Speaker Submission Form. The submission will be valid for the current calendar year. Potential speakers will need to resubmit the form each year to confirm their interest in remaining in the database. If you have any questions, please contact education@npma.org.
