The National Property Management Association is happy to announce we have reached our minimum registration requirements to have a virtual option at NES 2021!

Consulting Fellows Application 2021

Consulting Fellow applications are due Friday, June 11th, submit today!

The Consulting Fellow (CF) is the highest recognition bestowed on its members by the NPMA. Consulting Fellows are expected to have made significant and continuous contributions to the field of property management. This recognition is designed to provide the NPMA with a core group of property/asset management technical experts who will mentor the next generation of professionals, educate NPMA members, perpetuate the literature of property/asset management, and provide leadership in the property management field.

Please go to th
NPMA website, sign in, and select ‘Groups’, “Council of Fellows”; and select the most current templates (rev. 9).

Consulting Fellow candidates must submit a completed CF Application with supporting documentation (see website for templates) along with the $100.00 application fee to the NPMA National Office. Reference Process Flow.

1. Submit through the following 
Consulting Fellows Application on Smartsheet.
It should contain:
a. Application – Revision v.9
b. Supporting Documentation


2. When you upload your application/documentation online, you will receive an email confirmation that will include a link so that you can create and pay your invoice for the $100 application fee. The email will also contain instructions for paying by check. Note: Your application will not be reviewed until the application fee is paid.

CF recipients are recognized annually at the National Education Seminar or at the Spring/Fall Conferences. In order to be recognized at the 2021 NES, CF applications and supporting documents must be submitted no later than
 June 11, 2021In order to provide sufficient time for committee review and recognition presentation, we would appreciate your submittal as soon as possible.

Additional information is contained on the NPMA websiteSign in and then download the CF Application and supporting documents templates (one for PC or one for MAC) and save to your computer. The supporting documentation will help guide you through the process. Please utilize the templates as this helps the committee to identify what documentation supports which requirement. Make sure that your documents are numbered to match the application section item.

New Learning Management System Coming for NPMA

The National Property Management Association is excited to announce that we will be transitioning to a new My Learning system provider soon.

The new system, LearnUpon, will house all our educational content and member transcripts. This new system will be replacing our current My Learning system. Like our Online Community upgrade, LearnUpon will offer a fresh look and feel, as well as an overall better functionality and experience for our members. Additional features include: Improved catalog search, user recent activity tracking, easier access to presentation slides, and so much more! Stay tuned for more updates!

Once we have launched this new system, we'll provide some additional details on how to take advantage of all the features that will be available to you. If you have any questions, please email

Expand Your Property Knowledge Through Cal Poly Pomona. Course Registration begins May 3rd. 

Cal Poly Pomona University is offering the following course for Property Professionals. FRL 3293: Legal and Contract Management Aspects of Federal Government Contract Property, Basics of Contract Property & Asset Management With a Twist (Law). The course will be Tuesday and Thursdays from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM starting July 8, 2021 - August 6, 2021. The course will be taught by Professor Dr. John Wyatt. See additional below on course registration.
  • The public registers for this NON-CREDIT course through Open University. Registering to take classes through Open University is a 3-step process:
    • Fill out the online registration form
    • Submit Online Petition
    • Pay Tuition ($1020) & Be Enrolled

Similar to other social platforms, the Online Community allows you to make connections with your fellow members to build your network within the NPMA community!

How do I connect with others in the Online Community?

  • Once you are signed into your NPMA profile, select "Directory" in the Online Community navigation.
  • Search for the NPMA member you would like to connect with. After you find the member, click on their name with in the directory search. You will be directed to the member's profile page. Select "Connect" and this will send a connection request to that user. The person you are requesting to connect with will have to approve the connection.
