Council of Fellow Applications 2021

The Consulting Fellow (CF) is the highest recognition bestowed on its members by the NPMA. Consulting Fellows are expected to have made significant and continuous contributions to the field of property management. This recognition is designed to provide the NPMA with a core group of property/asset management technical experts who will mentor the next generation of professionals, educate NPMA members, perpetuate the literature of property/asset management, and provide leadership in the property management field. This core group is known as the "Council of Fellows."

Please go to the NPMA website, sign in, and select ‘Groups’, “Council of Fellows”; and select the most current templates (rev. 9).

Consulting Fellow candidates must submit a completed CF Application with supporting documentation (see website for templates) along with the $100.00 application fee to the NPMA National Office. Reference Process Flow.

1. Submit through the following Consulting Fellows Application on Smartsheet.
It should contain:
a. Application – Revision v.9
b. Supporting Documentation

2. When you upload your application/documentation online, you will receive an email confirmation that will include a link so that you can create and pay your invoice for the $100 application fee. The email will also contain instructions for paying by check. Note: Your application will not be reviewed until the application fee is paid.

CF recipients are recognized annually at the National Education Seminar or at the Spring/Fall Conferences. In order to be recognized at the 2021 NES, CF applications and supporting documents must be submitted no later than May 26th, 2021. In order to provide sufficient time for committee review and recognition presentation, we would appreciate your submittal as soon as possible.

Additional information is contained on the NPMA website. Sign in and then download the CF Application and supporting documents templates (one for PC or one for MAC) and save to your computer. The supporting documentation will help guide you through the process. Please utilize the templates as this helps the committee to identify what documentation supports which requirement. Make sure that your documents are numbered to match the application section item.

If there are any questions about using the application form, please contact NPMA Seminar Education Manager, Lisa Williams, at lwilliams@npma.org.

If you have questions about the application itself or the program, please contact Kathy McFarland, Chair CoF Applications Committee at kgmckat3@gmail.com.

Certification Update: Digital Badging Coming Soon!

Digital Badging is coming very soon! NPMA has signed a contract with Accredible to bring Digital Badging to all NPMA certificants. We will start with those candidates who receive a new credential as a result of successfully meeting eligibility requirements. Once the candidate receives a passing exam score notice from Kryterion, it will be followed with a link to their new Digital Badge and instructions for set up and use. We expect this process to be active before the end of April 2021.

For those certificants who already have credentials, old or new, we need you to do something for us first. Please log into your NPMA profile and ensure your email address is current. This is where you will receive your Digital Badge and if your address is not valid, your DB will not be delivered. We expect to have DB’s delivered to NPMA certificants on or before June 1, 2021.

If you have questions about your certification, please contact certification@npma.org.

Have knowledge to share? Join NPMA's Speaker Roster!

In an effort to assist our Chapters and Regions in providing continuing education to their members, NPMA is rolling out a new Speaker Database. This database will provide a listing of individuals willing to speak on specific topics that our Chapters/Regions can use to secure speakers for upcoming monthly meetings, Chapter Workshops and National Seminars.

We need volunteers to present sessions on a variety of topics of interest to our community. If you are interested and wish to be added to the database, please fill out this form: NPMA Speaker Submission Form. The submission will be valid for the current calendar year. Potential speakers will need to resubmit the form each year to confirm their interest in remaining in the database.

If you have any questions, please contact education@npma.org.
