Important NPMA Certification Renewal Updates All NPMA certifications, Fleet and Property, expire every five years. The new Certification Renewal Form, used by Fleet and Property and available now, will be required for use beginning January 1, 2021. The eligibility requirements have changed slightly, so don’t wait until the last minute to submit the application and supporting documentation. Applications for renewal submitted after the expiration grace period, will not be accepted and will require retesting to bring the credential up to date. Credentials will no longer fall back one level if not renewed. For example, a certificant who holds the CPPM credential and does not renew it, will not fall back to a CPPA, they will no longer be certified at any level. The credential expiration date may be found on the certificate or in the certificant’s NPMA profile. Renew every five years and don’t wait to the last minute! If you have any questions, please contact the NPMA National Office at certification@npma.org. |
