The NPMA Executive Board and staff have been actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation. Our NES Planning Committee, staff, and event partners in Dallas worked very hard to put together multiple contingency plans to hold the event. However,based on the most recent guidance we have received, the obstacles and costs to doing so are just too great. Because of this, the committee has made the difficult decision to cancel NES for 2020.

Upcoming: Free NES Webinars

Although the National Education Seminar will not be happening this year, the NES Planning Committee is working on plans to offer several free NES presentations virtually via NPMA’s GoToWebinar account. Keep an eye on your email for more details including dates and how to register!

During this time when many of us are working remotely, you can avoid missing issues of The Property Professional by having it delivered to your home! This is an excellent way to prevent potential work mailbox backlogs, especially if you are not returning to the office for a while. If you are interested in changing the delivery location of the magazine, please log in to your profile and edit your primary mailing address. Once you return back to work, you can update your profile again, to resume delivery at your workplace.

To ensure that the August issue is delivered to your primary mailing address, please update your profile by July 17, 2020.

The National Delegates Meeting will be held virtually on Sunday, August 23 at 1pm EDT using NPMA’s GoToWebinar account. The National and Regional elections will be held live during this meeting, utilizing an online ballot system. We are still working to finalize the plans for the meeting and elections and will send an email to all active Delegates with instructions in the next couple of weeks. If any Delegate is unable to attend this virtual meeting, they will still be able to utilize a Proxy from their chapter to participate in their place. Instructions on submitting proxy forms online were included in the Delegates Notebook (which can be found on the NPMA website under Tools; Chapter Resources; Delegates Notebook).
