Meet NPMA Member, Gina Gant, CPPA, Cochise Chapter

What advice for success would you give to someone who is new in asset management?
Jump in and join your local chapter, participate, and become an active member. Build your network and focus on making long lasting friends in NPMA. You are not going to know the answer to every scenario that may arise, but someone within the NPMA organization will.

What has NPMA done for your career?
NPMA has expanded my knowledge in asset management. Through NPMA, I was able to understand the importance of the work I was preforming and if my organization ever had a disapproved property system, how that would impact the jobs of many others in my company outside of asset management; almost like a domino effect, it would all come crashing down. NPMA has made me want to learn all I can and to continuously expand my knowledge. I am a Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) and currently preparing to take my Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) exam. It has helped build my network of professionals who have done asset management for many years. I know who to reach out to for assistance and if I don’t know, they sure know.
