Director of Membership

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Address questions or concerns from Chapters and members regarding NPMA membership.

  • Promote and assist Chapters in membership retention initiatives and new membership activities (may include travel to meet with Chapter members).

  • Make recommendations to Region Vice-President concerning initiatives to promote membership growth and retention.

  • Work closely with the Vice President of Membership.

  • Maintain regional statistics on membership (noting membership figures from the last meeting to present, an analysis on past years’ figures, and any other pertinent information).

  • Support the Membership Growth objectives as outlined in the NPMA Strategic Plan.  Recommend actions to the Region Vice President and the Vice President of Membership to promote and support the achievement of the performance indicators.

  • At each Regional Board Meeting, report the actions and status of associated activities – in lieu of attendance at Board Meetings, provide a written report to the Region Secretary at least two weeks in advance.
