Dr. Goetz  & Prof. Waszczak will offer a comprehensive intensive four and a half day course covering the critical aspects of Contract Property Management System Audit, Self-Assessment and Subcontractor Audit based upon FAR and DFARS requirements as well as AUDITING STANDARDS.

Payment must be received 35 days prior to the course. Registrants with pending payments 35 days prior to the first day of the course must guarantee payment or will be dropped from enrollment.

In the event that you need to cancel your registration, cancellations must be received in writing 45 days prior to the first day of course and no refunds less than 45 days before start date of class. A refund, equivalent to the member tuition rate less $75 processing fee, will be granted through this date; no refunds or course transfers will be granted for cancellations after this date.


Douglas Goetz, CPPM, CF

Dr. Douglas N. Goetz, CPPM, CF, an accomplished educator, dynamic speaker, researcher and author whose reputation precedes him as a now retired professor at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and the Defense Acquisition University (DAU). Upon his retirement from DAU he founded and is President of GP Consultants, LLC, a much in demand firm that provides technical consulting excellence in Contract Property Management to both Government and industry entities. A member of NPMA for over 30 years he served as National Editor and now Editor Emeritus of the Property Professional, as well as multiple terms as a member of the NPMA Board of Advisors. He has received numerous awards including the Jack E. Griffiths Memorial Award as the NPMA Property Person of the Year, the NPMA Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Department of Defense Civilian Meritorious Service Award. In 2013 he was inducted into the DAU Hall of Fame. He is listed in Marquis’ “Who’s Who in American Education” and “Who’s Who in America.”


Professor Charles “Chuck” Waszczak, Lifetime CPCM


An engaging and energetic speaker for the NCMA and NPMA at both the national and local chapter levels, Professor Waszczak is a 14-year NPMA member, Ohio Valley Chapter delegate and former VP.  Chuck is a 33-year member of NCMA and a Lifetime Certified Professional Contracting Manager (CPCM); a DoD Acquisition Corp member and retired member of the Armed Forces.  Currently he is on the faculty of GP Consultants, LLC. 

Prof. Waszczak was previously a Professor with the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and the Defense Acquisition University (DAU).  In addition to the Contract Property curriculum, he has also taught contracting and acquisition courses for DAU and has provided performance support and consulting to DoD and other Government agencies.

Professor Waszczak is a frequent presenter at NPMA events – his most recent efforts were at the 2017 NPMA NES held in Phoenix, AZ, where he presented in multiple workshops benefitting the NES participants and demonstrating his support to NPMA and the highest individual professional standards.

Professor Waszczak developed and presented Government contract property related curricula to attendees at the 53rd and 56th  Annual National Seminar on Government Contracts sponsored by the College of Continuing Education, University of Minnesota in cooperation with the Twin Cities Chapter, National Contact Management Association (NCMA) and the North Star Chapter, National Property Management Association (NPMA).

Professor Waszczak is an authoritative and sought after researcher and answer provider under the DAU Ask-A-Professor (AAP) program, providing dozens of official AAP responses and numerous off-system e-mail responses to Government property and acquisition professionals on Government property related themes demonstrating his and DAU's dedication to customer support and ability to provide quality products and services with precision, speed and agility and our ability to utilize strategic partnerships as a REAL "force multiplier." He has been repetitively praised by Government property professionals and AAP submitters for his thorough research and clear, focused answers.

While formally retired from the DoD he continues to serve as an intermittent Professor of Continuing Education at the Defense Acquisition University, teaching Government Contract Property curricula. He was selected as the NPMA Federal Property Manager of the Year at the 2015 NPMA NES, Fort Worth, Texas
