CPPM Certification Review and Testing

This Class Awards 4 Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)

 

Please note: A minimum number of registrants is required to hold this course. NPMA will make the Go/No-Go decision at least 30-days out. If you are planning to attend, please make sure to register at least 30 days prior to the start of the course. In the event a course is cancelled, NPMA will not be liable for non-refundable travel, so please do not book before confirming with a staff member that the course will hold.

DESCRIPTION

The NPMA Certification Programis designed to elevate professional standards and enhance individual performance for those who demonstrate a high level of competence essential to the practice of property management.

 

After obtaining the CPPS and CPPA, you are ready to take your professional certification to the next level by completing the Situational Judgment Essay Exam for Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM).

 

This one day class will provide an intensive review before you sit for the CPPM exam. The exam will be administered on the same day as the review.

 

Registration includes the CPPM Situational Judgment Exam. There are no study materials for this class.

CPPM Eligibility Requirements

  • Have an active CPPA
  • Have an approve Work Summary
  • worked in property for at least six (6) years and have a variety of work experience in at least seven (7) functional areas of property management (see below)
  • Have four (4) years of managerial experience

Note: Managerial experience means supervision, decision-making, or management of resources (not necessarily personnel). This could include project management; program management; financial management (budget); team leadership; or serving as the sole property manager in an organization, corporation, or agency.

Rosanne (Beth) Green, CPPM, CF
Beth’s work experience in property management covers more than 30 years. During  her 33 year career with the U.S. Navy she worked as a Contracting Officer, Building Manager, Logistics and Supply Specialist, Fleet Manager, Disposal Specialist, Traffic Manager, Plant Clearance Officer and a Government Property Administrator. She became DoD Defense Acquisition Work Force certified. After she retired from the Navy in 2006, she worked as a consultant for DoD and NASA contractors providing her expertise in problem solving, developing an internal audit program, working with Defense Contract Management Agency and Defense Contractor Audit Agency auditors, training employees, writing procedures and working on contract proposal teams. Beth has been an active NPMA member for more than 21 years. She has been a presenter at several National Educational Seminars and now serving as the Vice President of Certifi cation. In addition, Beth is an NPMA instructor for the certification review courses and has developed training courses. She is a Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) and a NPMA Consulting Fellow (CF).
