During this informative three day course, you will learn what common mistakes are made, the possible consequences of repeating them, and tips for avoiding these blunders all together. Every phase of the property life cycle will be examined, including best practices and guiding principles.

Cheri Cross is the Property Manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) which is operated by UT-Battelle, LLC for the Department of Energy. For the past two years, Cheri has been serving as a delegate from the USA in the development of the ISO Asset Management Systems Standard. She is a Certified Personal Property Manager and an NPMA Consulting Fellow. In her 34 years of service at ORNL, 22 have been devoted to the improvement of Property Management. Her accomplishments include the Jack Griffiths Property Person of the Year Award, Eastern Region Property Person of the Year Award, and multiple literary awards. She is currently serving as the NPMA National Director of Special Interest Groups, and on the NPMA Executive Board as the Immediate Past President. Cheri has a B. S. in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, graduating Summa Cum Laude as the “Top Graduate” from the College of Business.
