Region Vice President

Position Description
The Region Board of Delegates elects the Region Vice President in accordance with the Region Bylaws and the National Bylaws. The Region Vice President is responsible for representing the Region on the National Executive Board.
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Establish consistent and effective communication between the region membership and the executive board, including reports presented at Region and National Board Meetings

  • Preside over Region Board meetings, and  establishing the date, time and location for all Region Board Meetings

  • Fulfill and uphold the NPMA Bylaws (National and Regional)

  • Promote, monitor and support new Chapter development and existing Chapter growth and expansion

  • Provide support for Chapters requiring mentoring (low member participation, company downsizing, etc.)

  • Appoint Regional Directors and counselors to provide assistance to the Regional Vice President and to provide leadership in their areas of appointment to all Chapters and members.  A listing of each appointed officer will be made available to Region Members.

  • Support and promote the NPMA Strategic Plan

  • Appoint replacements for the Secretary and Treasurer positions in the event of a vacancy.

  • Other duties as assigned by the National President
