Find a Proctor
All NPMA certification exams must be taken in the presence of an approved proctor.
When you purchase your exam, you will see a dropdown box where proctors are sorted by state and city. Choose from the list. Within 2 business days of your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation of your exam purchase. The email will include the proctor's contact information so that you can contact your proctor to discuss arrangements for taking your exam.
If there are no proctors in your area, you can recruit someone from your Human Resources Department or similar position but that person cannot be in your direct line of supervision - they cannot supervise you nor can you supervise them.
Proctor applicants must be approved before they can serve. Anyone considering the role must review the Proctor Manual and complete the Proctor Application. They should also know that this is a volunteer position and they will not become a member. They cannot accept payment for proctoring.
Proctors who are not also CPPMs are considered HR Proctors. HR Proctors do not show up in the dropdown list when you purchase your exams. If your proctor is an HR Proctor, choose Lisa Golden as your proctor when making your purchase. Once you've completed your purchase, please email certification and indicate the name of your HR proctor so that the individual can be listed on your record as your official proctor for that exam.
