Membership FAQs

 

  • What are the available membership options?
    •  Starting January 1, 2017, the only membership options that NPMA will be offering are the Silver Individual, Silver Group Membership - Corporate, Silver Group Membership- Employee, Retiree Individual, and Student. 

      The pricing for these membership will not be changing- Gold and Platinum levels will just no longer be a membership option.

      You have until December 31, 2016 to take advantage of all the membership options listed below:

      • Corporate Silver Group

  • I am retired and want to join as a retiree member but I do not see this option.
    • If you are interested in a retiree membership. You will need to have a non-company email account attached to your profile and email membership to request the membership type.
  • I am retired or retiring and would like to renew my NPMA membership as a retiree member.
    • If you are interested in a retiree membership. You will need to have a non-company email account attached to your profile and email membership to request the membership type.
  • How many people do I need for a group membership?
    • You will need a minimum of 5 seats to have a group membership. If you have less than 5 members you can pay for 5 seats and assign them as the need arises.
  • What is the difference between a Corporate Group membership and an Employee Group membership?
    • A Corporate Group membership is paid by the company. If an employee/member leaves the company or takes a new position their membership can be transferred to someone else.
    • An Employee Group membership is paid by a group of employees of a particular organization who have come together for the group discount. Their memberships are NOT transferrable.
  • How do I renew my NPMA membership?
    • You can renew your membership up to 90 days in advance of you expiration online. To do this simply login to your NPMA member profile and click the My Profile button located at the top right center of you screen. Once on the My Profile page you will see a link ***Renew Your Membership Now*** click it and follow the prompts to renew your membership.
  • How do I update my profile?
    • On the NPMA home page click Sign In at the top of the page to sign into your account. Once signed in you should be on your profiles home page.(If you are already signed in click  My Profile at the top of the page, this will take you to the same page) Click [Edit] in the black Primary Information bar. On this screen you be able to edit your email address, username, address, and change your password and more.
  • How to change your password?
  • How do you reset your password?
    • On the NPMA homepage click SIGN In at the top of the page. This will take your to the member login page. If you know your password login as normal. If you do not remember your password click on the link that says Click here to reset your password. This link is located just below the Sign In button. Follow the prompts to rest your password.
  • How do I renew my group’s membership?
    • Email or call HQ and they will assist you in renewing your group membership.
  • How do I choose a chapter to join?
    • Click here to view a map of all of the chapter locations. You will want to select the chapter closest to you.
  • How do I change my chapter?
    • On the NPMA home page click Sign In at the top of the page to sign into your account. Once signed in you should be on your profiles home page.(If you are already signed in click  My Profile at the top of the page, this will take you to the same page) One the right side of the screen there is box labeled My Profile click on Groups in this menu. There under the black Primary Group Management bar you will see a drop down menu that lists all of the chapters. Select the chapter you would like to change to and click update. You have updated your chapter.
  • How do I print my membership card?
    • Login to the NPMA website. Once you are logged in click MANGE PROFILE at the top of the page. Next click Membership under Invoicing, Payments & History. On the next page your will see View/Print My Membership Card click here and you will be able to print your membership card.
  • What do I do if my account is suspended?
  • How do I locate an invoice?
    • Login to the NPMA website. Once logged in click MANAGE PROFILE at the top of the page. Under Invoicing, Payments & History you will see Invoices click the link. Once on this page select Any Status from the drop down menu labeled Filter by status. You will be able to access all of your invoices.
