NPMA Innovations in Fleet Management Award

Purpose

The NPMA Innovations in Fleet Management Award recognizes excellence and innovation in fleet management at leading corporations, federal, state and local government agencies as well as universities and institutions of higher learning.

 

Description and Award Criteria:

This is an individual or team award that recognizes the efforts for fleet management operations at the individual or teams organization.

This award recognizes new or innovative fleet management practices that:

  • Improve operations to reduce costs or risks
  • Improve accountability and records management
  • Contribute to the overall goals of the organization
Process

Only projects that have been completed by December 31, 2016 will be considered.

All nominations must be submitted by NPMA members in good standing. All entries MUST be received no later than June 1, 2017. Click here for submissions.

The nomination form is a narrative (1,000 words max), submitted online to the National Director of Awards. The name and contact information for the nominee's work supervisor should be included in the submission. If selected, a letter will be sent to the supervisor notifying him or her of the member's achievements for NPMA.

Award winners will be announced at the NPMA National Education Seminar (NES). Winners will receive $100 in NPMA services (applicable to use for educational seminar registrations, certification classes, training classes or annual membership fees – all exclusive of travel).
