Carl Iannacone Tribute Award 


The Carl Iannacone Tribute Award is in honor of Carl Iannacone, Past President of the NPMA, for his immeasurable contributions to NPMA and the profession. 

Any NPMA member can nominate an individual for this award in letter format detailing eligibility and accomplishments of the nominee. 


Section 1: Purpose

This award is given to NPMA members who have contributed time and support to the enrichment and betterment of the profession and NPMA. 


The recipient of the Carl Iannacone Tribute Award is recognized during an award ceremony at the National Education Seminar. In addition, the recipient receives:

• Award Certificate / Plaque

 

Timeline
Letter of nomination received by the National Director of Awards at awards by April 30. 

National Awards Committee evaluates nominations and makes selection by June 30. 

Award recipient name is sent to the National Office by July 1.

Section 2: Process

Any NPMA member can nominate an individual for this award in letter format detailing eligibility and accomplishments of the nominee. 

A. The NPMA Award Committee submits notification of the award to all Chapter presidents and the Executive Board at least 90 days prior to the annual NES.

B. Letters of nomination must be sent to the National Director of Awards prior to the deadline date announced.

C. The National Director of Awards forwards nominations to the National Awards Selection Committee members for judging. 

Section 3: Method of Selection

A. Chapters will advise all members of the Carl Iannacone Tribute Award by distributing the criteria to all members. 

B. Letters submitted for consideration should be typed. Supporting documentation is not required; however, it should be available if asked for by the national selection committee.

C. The National Director of Awards will forward the nominations to the National Awards Committee members for judging. 

D. National Awards Committee evaluates each nominee. The committee will make the selection of the national winner from the nominees. This committee presents the recommendation to the National Office.

Section 4: Criteria

A. Award Year: January 1 through December 31 of the past calendar year. 


B. Eligibility

 

1.Member in good standing. 


2.Member who has demonstrated one or more of the following:

 

1.Contributed significant amount of time and support to the betterment of the property profession and NPMA. 

 

 

2.Devoted Spirit, selfless passion and respect to Property Management through strong leadership and commitment. 

 

 

3.Provided outstanding leadership to NPMA and its members, fostering growth and change in the organization.

 

4.Coaching, counseling and encouraging the development of NPMA member both personally and professionally. 

 

Note: Member in “good standing” is defined as an NPMA member who is current on dues and active within the Chapter or Region.
