Statement of Experience:

Scott Ray, CPPM, holds a B.A. in International Business. He is recognized as an NPMA Outstanding Member. Initially with the Bay Area Chapter, he served as Delegate and Secretary. He is currently the first President of the Higher Education & Research Chapter (Formerly California College & University Chapter) which has seen significant membership growth to date. He leads the Campus Support Team of Property Administrators at Stanford and is primary liaison with the School of Engineering and Dean of Research departments. Previously, Scott was Facilities Manager and Property Administrator for Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford’s School of Medicine.

 

Mission/Goals:

Priorities include building upon previous region initiatives. Working with Western Region chapter Presidents to identify areas of concern.  Bringing new perspectives while collaborating with other Region VPs to address concerns, accomplish goals, and help direct NPMA in future initiatives to ensure growth and delivery of value-added services to Chapters, Members, and all participants in NPMA activities. Proactively represent the Region on the Executive Board. Promote outreach and encourage scholarship participation for seminars and conferences.
