2016 Spring Education Seminar

Important CEU News! 

New for 2016, CEUs, which were previously awarded 1 to each 8 hours of instruction, will now be awarded 1 to each 1 hour of instruction. CEUs will soon be converted for the previous five years so that people seeking certification renewal or application to the Council of Fellows will have an accurate CEU count.

Share your experiences as a presenter during the NPMA 2016 National Education Seminar (NES), August 21-September 1, 2016, in Nashville, Tennessee. Submissions are due by Monday, March 14, 2016.Speaking at a conference is a great opportunity to grow your network and your professional profile.

NPMA University Property Workshop 

University Property Conference at Stanford workshops will explore Asset Lifecycle, Supporting Research, Financial Compliance, Surplus & Disposition as well as Property’s Role dealing with Risk. In addition to Workshop sessions, the Conference will offer multiple Expert Panel discussions on business collaboration across departments and increasing property awareness on campus. Overall BestProperty Practices will be an hour long moderated discussion and opportunity to share with and learn from the other University Property Professionals. Also featured will be a unique hands on Case Study Seminar for all attendees, with selected expert coaches available with expertise and experience to share.

The setting will be Stanford Law School, on the main campus of Stanford University. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day and an opportunity to tour the campus, attend the Bay Area NPMA Chapter dinner meeting and visit downtown Palo Alto for great shopping and food is available. Awards submission deadlines are quickly approaching. This is a great way to recognize your Chapter members for their accomplishments. Also, don’t forget to submit for Chapter of the Year. Submission is easy and there are cash prizes for the winning Chapters. Additionally, electronic submission options will be launched this year.
