Educational programs in a variety of formats have been designed for every stage of the property professional's career.  There are dozens of opportunities for you to gain knowledge and learn best practices in the various functions of asset property management.

Classroom Courses
 

NPMA courses taught by knowledgeable, experienced instructors are offered throughout the year in various parts of the country.  To view our classroom courses and register on-line, please see our Course Listings or Calendar of Events.   

 

On-Demand Courses

If travel is a problem, you can still gain valuable training as long as you have access to a computer and the internet.  Our Online Courses and recorded Webinar Presentations provide you with learning options on a number of topics, including NPMA Certification. 

Our On-site Program might be just the thing for your organization if you have a group of 10 or more who need to receive the same training; the instructor comes to your facility at a time convenient for you.

NPMA offers several self-study courses that allow you to learn at your own pace, and from anywhere, and at anytime.  You have the flexibility to start and stop at your convenience and pick up later right where you left off.  Whether you are preparing for NPMA certification, or just trying to learn more about a specific topic, our Online Courses can help.

Webinars

Learn more about how NPMA addresses a variety of property and asset management processes and get advanced notices about upcoming live seminars. Choose from our complimetary web seminars to learn more about the distinct benefits can offer you an your organization.

For a small fee, take advantage of NPMA web seminars on demand. As an added benefit, the instructor is available all year to answer questions which are posted along with those of other participants so you can see all the questions and answers related to the session.

With special group pricing, your organization can participate in a conference setting. Simply set up a projector and speakers in your office space. Best of all, group participants can earn CEU credits.

 

 
 

 

On-Site Courses

Any of the classroom courses offered during the year can be brought to your facility and presented to your organization, or can be tailored to meet your needs.  On-Site courses are a good because:

  • They save on employee travel time and eliminate hotel and travel expenses.
  • The course content can be modified to focus more narrowly on the needs of a particular group or functional specialty, or can be a mix of topics.

Educational Conference Series Events and Workshops

National Education Seminar

The National Education Seminar (NES) is the signature annual conference bringing together property professionals from the federal, state, and local governments; colleges & universities; contractors; private sectors; hospitals; in addition to vendors providing products and services to the asset management profession. The NES conducts a variety of educational offerings covering all of the main areas of emphasis, general sessions, case studies, and breakout sessions led by renowned speakers and leaders in the property profession. In addition, NES provides demonstrations, exhibits, and networking opportunities. Conference Series Events

NPMA offers two educational Conference Series events each year (formerly known as Region Seminars). These events are typically two or three day events that provide several targeted and specific themes. Breakout sessions for new or junior property professionals are offered as well. Conference Series events include breakout sessions as well as general sessions. Click on the Conference Series link for details information.

Chapter Workshops

Many Chapters host local half-day, one day or two day workshops as created by the local chapter. These are generally designed to be targeted for nearby property professionals to attend with no or limited travel requirements. For details of these events, see our Calendar of Events or check out the local chapter websites by clicking here.

 

Financial Support

If you are not able to obtain your employer’s financial support for you to attend an NPMA course or seminar, you can apply to the NPMA Foundation for assistance with tuition and travel expenses.  If you have been an NPMA member for at least two years, you can qualify for a grant from the NPMA Foundation.

Degree Programs
